H Gibbs wrote (Viewpoint, November 6) regarding your earlier article 'soft-play facility
planned for town', and referred to a similar facility in Scunthorpe as being too expensive and as the toddler play area wasn't enclosed, it was unsuitable for someone with more than one smaller child.

I would like to point out anyone having three children will find it expensive to go anywhere. A lot of research has gone into our prices and for the time children are allowed to play, it is no more expensive than the big chains of play areas. We also run regular offers for customers in local magazines, as well as a loyalty system for regular customers which reduces prices.With regard to the enclosed area for toddlers, we have lots of families who come with more than one child and have no problems with this layout. What suits one family may not suit another.

If the planning application goes ahead for this play area in Brigg, I also wish the two families involved good luck because there is a lot of hard work involved.
